Welcome, Jo!

Jo started her career in London, organising training events for a large firm of accountants during the 1980’s.   She then moved abroad in 1996 and spent six and a half years working in the Cayman Islands for a firm of solicitors.  It was whilst she was there that she attended the Cayman Islands Law School and obtained a law degree.

She returned to the UK to undertake the legal practice course, after which she got married and had a child which put a hold on her legal career.  On her return to work, Jo took a position with FMW which started her on her current career path into insurance.  She originally managed vehicle changes and various administration roles, but soon got more involved working towards her Cert CII.  When FMW became Oval Insurance Broking and then Arthur J Gallagher, Jo remained in her role until 2016, when she moved to Aston Scott which then became Aston Lark.

It was at Aston Lark that Jo branched out into claims handling, predominately motor claims, until her recent move in March 2021 to Ascend Broking Group Ltd where she continues with some claims related work as well as acting as PA to the directors. Jo has over 14 years’ experience within the insurance industry.

Jo is married to Richard, and they have a daughter.  She spends her free time walking her three English pointers, Snoopy, Woodstock and Peppermint Patty![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
