The Most Stolen Vehicles in 2023
One car was stolen on average every 8 minutes in the UK in 2023, with 176 cars being stolen each day. The DVLA has published a list of the top ten most thieved vehicles and some on the list may surprise you…Yes, that’s right, the most targeted car of last year was the Ford Fiesta!
Why? Because the Ford Fiesta remains the UK’s most popular car, with more than a million of them registered on the road, but Ford’s decision to discontinue the Fiesta last year has made parts difficult to come by. The model is being stolen and stripped of parts, which are then being sold secondhand. Indeed, a Ford Fiesta was stolen once every 88 minutes in 2023, that was 16 a day!
The Ford Focus was the second most stolen car in the UK.
