Courier van insurance is a type of commercial van insurance, commonly referred to as ‘carriage of goods for hire or reward’. It covers your van if you make multiple deliveries within a local area, like parcel or food delivery.

Ascend’s 30-day Courier Only Van insurance provides you with Hire & Reward cover that sits on top of your existing Social, Domestic & Pleasure policy.
To use Ascend’s 30-day Hire & Reward (H&R) insurance, you must have an existing Social, Domestic & Pleasure (SD&P) insurance policy in place.
- Age: 21-65
- Full UK or EU licence (held minimum 2 years)
- 2 or fewer claims in last 3 years
- Vehicle value less than £30,000
- Up to insurance group 19 for van group 20
- Up to insurance group 26 for van group 50
- Vehicle engine size up to 3000cc (4.0l)
- Must be owner/keeper of vehicle (or if spouse is both, live at same address)
- No imported vehicles (right hand drive only)
- No Modifications
- Great Britain wide (Scotland, Northern Ireland, England, Wales)
Levels of Cover: Third Party Only (TPO), Third Party, Fire and Theft (TPF&T), Fully Comprehensive (Fully Comp).Your level of cover is equivalent to your underlying Social, Domestic & Pleasure insurance.
