The Problem:
A medium-sized transportation operator faced a substantial rate increase with little time to arrange any alternative, despite having very few claims.
The business tried to negotiate a lower premium through their broker but they were unable to improve on the terms provided.
The result of this was that the business went searching for a broker that could assist and found Ascend through our LinkedIn page. We were able to help.
The Solution:
Ascend were able to obtain the fact-finding information during the evening and arranged appointments with underwriters for the following day to discuss the motor fleet exposure.
Through our understanding of the sector, the fleet management features and the use of the Ascend 360 risk management programme we were able to provide a substantial saving on the renewal terms previously offered.
