Foreign travel insurance advice from the FCO
From the 10th of July holiday makers returning to England will not have to go into a period of quarantine with the FCO lifting its 'all but essential' travel rule.
Those returning from countries such as France, Spain, Barbados, Australia and Japan will no longer have to isolate. A full list of nations where restrictions on return to longer apply can be found on the governments website.
You should always check the FCO website before booking a holiday as many nations still have heavy restrictions in place to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Many spend their holidays on the water with their boats. We can arrange for specialist marine insurance. Visit our Marine Insurance section in Ascend Executive here.
It is likely that your insurance will not cover you if you travel to a country that is not on the approved FCO list. If you do travel to an approved country then you will likely be covered for any medical issues that may arise, including issues relating to coronavirus.
We can arrange for a travel insurance policy that will suit your needs and activity levels. No matter what you intend to do on holiday, whether it be skiing, water sports or simply relaxing on a beach, we can help. Call us today on 01245 449060 to find out more.
