When should I get event insurance? You can take out event liability insurance as soon as you start organising your event, and indeed this may offer you the best financial protection. If your event requires attendees to pre-book, make sure you have insurance in place before you start making sales. If you are seeking weather insurance, it is best to secure this as early as possible – insurers look at weather patterns and can decline to quote within 21 days of the event. What if the event is cancelled due to bad weather? We have helped many clients with their insurance claim due to bad weather causing the event to be cancelled. If you have the right insurance policy in place, you will be covered if your event has to be cancelled due to severe or adverse weather. Whether you are organising a fair, a parade or any other outdoor event, you can be protected against any financial loss due to adverse weather conditions simply by opting to insure against such an incident in your event insurance policy. Typical Claims

Cancellation Weather related cancellation. We recently assisted a client who had to cancel a world famous tribute act due to bad weather and a danger to the public. The policy was based upon a total expenses basis and we quickly agreed settlement of £109,500.
