Kids Inspire
Kids Inspire is a Chelmsford based charity which is on a mission to ensure that all children in the UK can receive specialist support to develop and grow into healthy adults, leading complete and fulfilling lives. They offer mental health and trauma recovery support for children, young people and their families.
Through a range of therapeutic and community activities, Kids Inspire promote resilience, self-awareness, and relationship building to empower more positive life choices, as well as running clubs for children to attend.
The experts at Kids Inspire work tirelessly to constantly improve the lives of children and their families, helping to pick them up off their feet and guide them on a path to a positive future.
Horse Riding and the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA)
The Belsteads School has excellent horse riding facilities on site, with a menage and several paddocks for the horses to enjoy, and has formed a positive link with the RDA, becoming a designated centre to enable our pupils and the local community to have an opportunity to access the benefits of riding and working with horses.
Where appropriate, Belsteads integrates horse riding into each pupil’s bespoke curriculum and encourages each pupil to become involved. Some children connect extremely well with horses and we have seen that riding provides physical benefits, alongside helping the children develop friendships, relationships and social skills.
