Update on unoccupied premises

With lockdown measures being eased you should still remember that risks to business remain substantial and you should remain alert at all times.

Unoccupancy Conditions:

From 30 June 2020, business owners are advised take all necessary steps to protect their premises, including complying with their policy’s unoccupancy condition. Where this isn’t possible for any reason (except for policyholders who are shielding and where government or local travel guidance means travelling to unoccupied premises would breach regulations), please inform us as soon as possible.

Visit our Covid-19 FAQ’s to read a wide range of industry specific guides on returning to work.

Restarting businesses:

With non-essential shops starting to reopen, and the hospitality and leisure sector preparing to reopen soon, precautions must be taken. Please take time in viewing our Covid-19 FAQ’s page to read relevant guides for your business. This includes considerations related to employee and customer communications, buildings and site inspections and equipment and machinery checks. The guides in our Covid-19 FAQ’s cover all kinds of industry whether it be transportation, hospitality, construction or property.
